10 Facebook Groups for Music Therapists

As I mentioned in my Facebook Tips for Music Therapists post, Facebook groups are one of the features I have found most useful on Facebook. Through various Facebook groups, Music Therapists around the world gather together to process, share, advocate, and learn together. Below are some of my favorite:

- 1. Music Therapists Unite!: This is the largest music therapy group on Facebook. It can be quite overwhelming at times but like I mentioned before utilize the search function to easily look for your topic of choice.

- 2. Music Therapy Business Owners: If you are a contractor then you are self-employed and a business owner. This group is extremely helpful as other MTBOs gather to ask questions and share advice.

- 3. Music Therapy Song Share

- 4. Music Therapy Leaders: This is a group founded by Music Therapy Ed. They will post videos of their content so that you can access them later. People also ask questions and share resources on the page.

- 7. Music Therapy in Hospice and Palliative Care

- 8. Music Therapy- Buy, Sell, Trade
